Asthma Dr appointment went really well.
Did a couple of specialized lung tests and said that Advair, nebulizer meds, and prednisone I'm on are controlling my asthma wonderfully.
The rough coughing I'm dealing with is Asthmatic Bronchitis, and will just take time to go away.
I have a follow-up appointment for a month from now. I was given information on nasal rinse/irrigation (to help eliminate post-nasal-drip coughing), and a Peak Flow Meter.
I'm supposed to use the peak flow meter twice a day to get baseline, and then use it when my asthma kicks up during Roller Derby practice to see how the exercise is effecting my lungs. If I'm feeling tightness & short of breath & wheezing, but my peak flow numbers don't change, then there's a chance I'm dealing with a Vocal Cord Dysfunction issue on top of my asthma.
I like the Dr's office too.
