It was a good weekend...

Saturday was the gem faire with my mom, followed by a little bit of shopping.

I got two pairs of earrings at the gem faire, and then one pair of earrings and two necklaces at the mall (JC Pennys).

Sunday I spent driving up to Portland. Met a friend for a late lunch followed by some wandering/chatting around the mall.

This morning I spent getting an extensive specialized kind of hearing test done. Nothing was immediately conclusive, so I have to wait until she has a chance to finish scoring all the tests and write up the report for me. Even if she can't do a definite diagnosis, I know I have issues, and I know I've managed to develop a lot of effective coping mechanisms. If something can be identified & labeled, then bonus! If not, I know I've done all I can to identify the cause.

DWTS was awesome as usual. I just love watching Derek dance. The futuristic Paso Doble he choreographed was very cool/interesting/different! I hope it's the encore dance... but they'll probably give that honor to Mya's (perfect 30) dance.

Anyone else on my friends/reading list watch DWTS? Derek & Joanna deserved a perfect 30 just as much as Mya did... IMHO, they got robbed!!
