Wow, what an amazing day & time!

I ended up watching Biden's and Obama's swearing in & Obama's speech at the office yesterday. There were a few other coworkers who joined me. I'm glad I did too, because while we had our DVR recording the entire days' proceedings... we chose a bad source. Evidently CNNHD is Headline News HD... and they TALK! A LOT! They talked over the wonderful violin/cello/clarinet/piano piece that I thankfully got to listen to at work. They didn't show the Inaugural Parade, which I was really hoping to see because after nearly an hour of watching the swearing in & speech at work I decided I really had to get back to my desk and get some work done.

I love listening to Obama give speeches, he's so eloquent and articulate, and his speeches have such a great rhythm and flow to them.

MrB & I have purchased a nice shiny new HD TV. It should show up on Monday. Newegg charged our credit card yesterday, so it's shipped out and is on its way. :D

I have to go shower now, so I can leave for work in 25-30 minutes. Yes, I'm running late. :p

Note to self: Tonight find places online to watch the Inaugural Parade, and the clips of Barack & Michelle appearing/dancing at the various balls.

We're half-way there!

Found and immediately ordered a Wii Fit from Costco.com! :)

Now we just need to find a Wii to go with it!

I'll keep looking when I visit stores, and checking various websites once or twice a week, and I'm sure eventually (hopefully within the next month or so) one will come up!

I'm also rather pleased by the ethics Executive Order President Obama (How cool/fun is that to type/say?!?!) issued. Part of me thought he wouldn't actually issue a lobbyist/gift/revolving door ban but he did!
Now he just needs to allow federal funding to those wonderful organizations that dare to talk about birth control and abortion, and reverse a jillion awful things Bush did (EPA, Clear Air Act, Endangered Species Act, etc)
