Sewing's kinda fun! (& Concert camera question!!)

I pulled out my newly acquired sewing machine this weekend. But first I went to JoAnn Fabrics & got some extra bobbins, thread in a handful of colors, and 3 different bits of remnant fabric (that was 75% off!).

I had a tear in the seam of a fitted sheet that I wanted to try & sew up with my machine. So I practiced on paper briefly, then played around with some of the scrap fabric that I bought. That's when I realized I could use my scrap fabric to create a cat toy for Maya!

It's 2 rectangles of scrap fabric sewed up on 3 sides, turned right-side out, stuffed with shredded newspaper, and then sewn shut - I'm rather proud of myself!


In sparkly news, I'm REALLY excited about going to go see Justin on Friday... the day after tomorrow!!! SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
People who've been to concert on this tour already What's been the policy for cameras & things? I'd love to bring my digital camera & try and get some pictures but I don't want it confiscated or anything!

ETA: I found her sitting like that when I walked in the door tonight.
