::huge sigh of relief::
May. 1st, 2007 12:42 pmHTB & I had a good talk last night
Sunday night I learned about all his concerns/jitters/etc. Last night we talked as I tried to figure out just what those concerns meant.
I told him I thought his concerns sounded like they were basic issues of us trying to figure out how to live together, and not deep-relationship concerns that would indicate a need to postpone/cancel the wedding.
To my huge relief, HTB agreed!! :D He liked the wording I chose for our ceremony invitations, so this week I'm going to print those up and get them addressed & mailed off.
I'm going to spend the next several months going through my stuff, and boxing/sorting stuff to be stored, donated, or trashed. Our little apartment is *very* full, and I have a lot of stuff around that I don't need to be keeping in the apartment itself (and some stuff I just plain don't need to be keeping).
So I'm going to try to de-clutter the place a bit. Which will be very good I think. It will also be good, as we decided that when our lease is up on our 2-bed 2-bath apartment next summer (a year and a couple months) we're going to move to a bigger 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment somewhere. We just plain need more space, and HTB needs a place that's just his where he can go and shut the door and not feel like he's keeping me from a place I need to be (which is what currently happens).
I am very relieved...
