Heroes LOVE!!
Feb. 5th, 2007 10:28 pmThere are NO words to describe how much I love this show!!!
( spoilers? )
In personal knews my sprained knee is still sprained, though perhaps less so. It's still sore in a couple places and if it hasn't recently been taped up 'just-so' by my physical therapist, it doesn't want to bend (I think they call it 'track') correctly and my knee tries to move inward when I walk on it. Obviously this makes it quite sore after a very short period of time.
Work is still insanely busy. Meetings upon meetings upon meetings wherein everyone argues for why their program is most important, and in the end nothing productive is accomplished. One more short (aka - not a dreaded all-day meeting) tomorrow and then I'm really hoping to be done with meetings for a while.
That's all I got. My eyes are tired now... Oh! My ADHD brain just remembered something else! I've got crossed eyes (they both point in a little bit), not especially noticeable to anyone else but from my position it's quite noticeable, as I get double vision without my glasses on (my glasses have prisms in that bend the light to the right place, since my eyes can't point at the same thing to give me one image instead of two). Anyway, I found an eye Dr who is certified in vision therapy and has quite a name for herself. She also works with adults, and is going to help my eyes learn how to work together better. I tend to get headaches from trying to make my eyes work (the prisms help, but the stronger my nearsighted prescription gets the less the prisms help).
Now that's really all I got, and my eyes (& the rest of me) say I'm tired annd it's time to go to bed.
Miss you all! I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to really catch up on LJ much.
And darn it! I just remembered I still need to do my physical therapy exercises before I go to bed. This whole getting old thing (& not bouncing back from injury really quickly) is not so much fun.
