what time is it again?
Oct. 29th, 2006 08:06 amI hate the time change, it always gets me so confused! The fall back time change is at least a *lot* easier for me to deal with than the spring forward one. I get an extra hour of sleep and my body clock has me waking up at 6:30am (because it thinks it's still 7:30).
HTB & I are having a nice relaxing weekend at home, after our busy trip last weekend. There's a lot of stuff around the house that needs doing, but I managed to get all the laundry done yesterday, so at least that's one less thing I'll have to do today. Today I think will involve grocery shopping, bathroom cleaning, and Morrowind playing (I *really* like that RPG). I've put in massive amounts of hours (I couldn't even begin to put a number on it), and I'm getting closer towards the end of two side arcs (head of two guilds), but I still have a LOT more to go do. When I finally managed to finish that game I'm going to finish Neverwinter Nights, and when that's done then it'll be time to get a really good video card upgrade and buy Oblivion and Neverwinter Nights 2.
Wedding stuff:
I finally sat down with my mom & grandma yesterday to try and get an idea of who (& how many people) will be coming to the reception we're having a month after our wedding. I was envisioning my grandma's massive family and thinking we would be dealing with a triple digit number. Turns out we'll likely have around 40 people, with no mroe than 55 if everybody shows. So now I get to call the bakery place and tell them we don't need the 2 sheet cakes we ordered. I'm also going to change the bottom layer of the wedding cake from a boring white cake & lemon filling to the orange cake & chocolate filling that HTB & I both loved the best when we were testing & deciding. :)
Christmas!:
I had a really good panic earlier this week when I realized that christmas was only 2 months away and I hadn't done a darn thing yet! So I went out and purchased my first present. One down lots more to go. My family exchanges lists, usually around Thanksgiving time. So I don't know what to buy my mom, dad, grandma, uncle, brother & etc until much later. But I do have ideas of what to buy HTB, so I can at least get started on that shopping. :)
