I can't believe HTB & I are both up this early voluntarily on a Sunday. We're gonna go up into the foothills a bit and find a good place to go pick blackberries. HTB has visions of making blackberry jam. :)
My birthday yesterday was fabulous!! I got a wonderful cool new pillow (one of those fancy tempur-pedic contour pillows). I've been getting the less-expensive imitation kind at Costco for a while, and I have to replace the darn things after a year or so because they just lose all their support.
I also got a CD (the new one by Nick Lachey that I've been wanting), chocolate, a gift card to a bookstore, and a Nintendo DS lite. :D My mom ignored the list that HTB passed on to her and also got me a pillow (as she says because I told her verbally a while ago that's what I wanted). So she gave me a check for her pillow and she kept it. So now I get to go to a electronics store and buy games & things for my DS. I'ma go see what kind of RPGs they have for it.
Oh! I almost forgot! I got Sims2 University!! ::bounces:: I LOVE it!!! I had no idea you couldboot send teens off to college as soon as they grow up into teenagers! How convienent!
What I'd love to do today is stay home all day and play games. But we're gonna go berry-picking, and then I'm going to meet a friend for a late lunch. I'm also going to get to see her new baby again (which I haven't done since she was born almost 2 months ago)! It's amazing how fast time flies if you're not paying attention. Hell! Sometimes it flies that fast even when you *are* paying attention!
