Fandom go BOOM!
Jan. 10th, 2006 12:53 pmI'm a bit disappointed I never managed to make it to a CFTC event, but ::shrugs shoulders:: that's the way my cookie crumbled.
I feel very torn between liking Justin & his music & being disappointed about the gradual dissolution of the group (I would've been quite happy for Justin & the others to do their own thing for a couple years and then get the group back together... like what Backstreet's currently doing).
::sigh::
But better for them to have things this way than thepathetic sad attempt NKOTB made to try & go out on their own terms. That's the one thing I'm grateful for. *NSYNC put out a good album, had a fantastic tour doing things the way they wanted to and they really went out on top with a good name & reputation behind themselves. I'm proud of them for that.
::waits eagerly for news about what Lance & Joey are going to do as a follow-up/replacement for CFTC charity & is very happy that Chris & JC will be involved::
::ignores the name that is missing in such a glaringly obvious way::
While doing my ironing last night I had an insane amount of fun watching The Reel *NSYNC.
I miss those boys... I wonder where they went...
In other news I'm very proud of myself for having been so productive at home last night (laundry, dishes, ironing & etc *all* done)!
Tonight HTB & I are going to a talk by an author of books about what's gonna happen when we start (assuming we aren't already) to run out of oil.
