rosebee: Adam Lambert touches the gauges/plugs in his ears (Default)
Hearing Wade be interviewed on the radio this morning has me in a slightly snarky mood. So, to celebrate, I thought I'd this little thing up.

Wade Robson Credits on *NSYNC's Celebrity album.

Co-songwriter:
-Pop (with Justin)
-Celebrity (with Justin & J. Valentine)
-Gone (with Justin)
-See Right Through You (with Justin & Larry Campbell)

Co-producer:
-Pop (with Justin & BT)
-Celebrity (with Justin & Rodney Jerkins)
-Gone (with Justin)
-See Right Through You (with Justin)

Liner Notes
-from Justin's Thank You's: Wade - My Dog! Never in my life have I clicked with someone creatively like I do with you. I hope I inspire people like you have inspired me.
-from JC's: Wade, could you be any more talented? Thanks for always having our back.
-from Joey's: To all the producers, writers, choreographers (Wade, you can fill in for me any time)...

Wade Robson Credits on Justin's Justified album.

Gee. I guess I must not be seeing them. Wait, ya know, it could be... there aren't any. Now what in the world would cause such an 'inspiring' and 'creative' partnership to vanish?

::snicker::

I listen to the radio station (Seattle's top 40 station, Kiss 106.1fm) in the mornings as I'm getting ready for my day.

Occasionally, they interview people.

On this fine Monday morning, they interviewed Wade Robson.

They babbled about his show on MTV, if any girls (or guys) approached him to try and sleep their way into the final round, what he had plans for after the mtv thing was over (a couple of director projects he's looking into, writing & producing music).

Then, they asked about Britney. They said (& I'm paraphrasing, because I didn't tape it) "you know, the first time we asked you about this, you said nothing happened between you & Britney, is that still true?"

Wade's response: Silence. Followed by some *brief* laughter. Then Wade hung up, and the interview was over.

Edit: Just to clarify, it's not like Wade hung up in the middle of the interview. They'd already talked about everything (for 5 or 10 minutes already), and this was the last question. He just didn't stick around for the normal end-of-interview banter (the typical stuff of "gee, thanks for calling in, it was great to talk to you, good luck with xyz project you're working on" and so on).

[sarcasm]
Gee. Wade hung up before the radio-people even got to say good-bye & good luck. I wonder why he would've done such a thing?
[/sarcasm]

No one will *ever* be able to convince me that the 2 people Justin refers to in Cry Me A River are anybody other than Britney & Wade.

Because [livejournal.com profile] jchalo asked, and got me thinking. I decided it'd be interesting for me to list the songs that are on the mix cd that is 'my zen place', and then, if & or when they change in the future I can easily compare the lists.

My zen place:

1) Are You Gonna Be There?
2) That's The Way Love Goes
3) Falling (import version w/JC & Justin on vocals)
4) God Must've Spent A Little More Time On You
5) Here & Now
6) That's When I'll Stop Lovin' You
7) Sailing
8) Only Through Heaven's Eyes
9) Somewhere, Someday
10) You Don't Have To Be Alone (live - from the *Ntimate Holiday Special)
11) More Than A Feeling
12) Gone
13) I Thought She Knew
14) Selfish
15) Something Like You
16) This I Promise You

This mix cd is the one that comes with me to the office. It only comes out when I'm feeling extra cranky & bitchy and nothing else will make it all go away. The above cd, combined with some deep breaths and some stretches *always* does the trick.

I also have a *very* similar mix cd that lives in my alarm clock. My lovely alarm clock has a built in cd player, a sleep timer, and a seperate volume control for the sleep timer. Most nights I find I need assistance in slowing down the thoughts racing around my head so I can fall asleep. I turn on this cd, at a volume low enough that the only way I can hear it is if I'm not tossing & turning and making noise rustling the bedsheets. Some nights I've got so much running around my head that when I wake up the next morning, I remember listening to track 7 or 8. Other times, I wake up, and I can barely remember listening to track 3.

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] wonderdawg

Jive Records announced Monday (September 8) that JC Chasez's solo album, Schizophrenic, has been pushed back to early 2004. ...

Well, looks like that January release date that was reported on the JJB wasn't a random date and was actually the correct one.

And, gee? JC's album is being delayed again?
The scheduled time for the group to get back together and record is going to have to be delayed as well. Which works out, because Justin has that little European tour scheduled, and he made mutterings about wanting some time off before getting back together with the guys to start working on the next *NSYNC album.

I wonder if some of the 'issues' Jive had was scheduling things so that Justin's singles, and touring, and JC's singles & touring made it so that one or the other of them had something out in the public eye for the entire time that *NSYNC has been on 'hiatus'.

Because if you think about it, the 'hiatus' started in April of 2002. There was a couple months where there was talk of Lance in space and other mutterings, then we had CFTC (#3), a month after that was Justin's debut of Like I Love You at the VMA's, a radio release of the single soon followed that. Then around November of 2002 we had the release of Justified. A month or so after that was JC with Blowin' Me Up. I'm not exactly sure when Cry Me A River was released, but I think it was around February or March of 2003. A brief promo tour of the UK for Justin, then month or so later, Justin starts his US tour with Christina. A few months of touring, with a little break towards the end for CFTC (#4?). Initial mutterings about a delay in the release of JC's album appear about this time as well. Somewhere in this time, Justin schedules a longer tour of the UK & other parts of Europe.

I really wonder if this timing is all planned out like this. To have someone doing something in the public eye, (in the U.S., and not just overseas), all the time while they've technically been on a break.
