Pop star Justin Timberlake will be working at the Open in Sandwich this week as a golf commentator.

The 23-year-old, who is dating movie star Cameron Diaz, is a big golf fan and is expected to turn up to see Tiger Woods in Kent when the tournament starts on Thursday morning.

A spokeswoman for the Open Championship said: "Justin is accredited and we understand he will be working for Turner Television."

In May, Timberlake joined the Turner Sports channel in the United States as a "special correspondent".

Um. Question. I thought Justin had a concert in Florida Wednesday night... since UK is ahead of there time-wise, by the time his concert is over approx. 11pm Eastern, that would be... ::runs to research:: 4am Thursday morning London time.

And, when does CFTC stuff start? Friday during the day, Friday night, or does the *NSYNC appearances not start until sometime Saturday?

How in the hell is something like this going to be pulled off?
A plane waiting for him behind the venue Wednesday night instead of a tour bus?
