I'm not a happy camper. I had to get up WAY too early. And it's not even for a good reason. I had to get up so I can go schmooze and play nice and other assorted social things that I don't like doing before 11am. But, I got volunteered at the office, so off i get to go. At least, the good news is that I'm going with several other people, so it shouldn't be too bad.

The boyfriend's coming to visit this weekend! SQUEEEEEE!

I keep hoping that eventually my crazy life will settle down into some semblance of normalcy, but I'm not going to hold my breath.


I wish so bad I could go see JC in Chicago. Maybe in a decade or two there'll be a live dvd of one of his solo performances? Looking at the wait we're going through for the Celebrity DVD, I'm thinking it'll be closer to two decades.

And now I better rush off if I'm going to tape TRL for that JC & Justin early performance thing and still get to my work-related-socializing-marketing thing on time!

Someday soon, I hope. I had lunch with college friend, R today. And, I've gotta say, it is *way* strange (in a very cool sort of way), that my very good friend from college is the sister-in-law to my boyfriend. It's very, very strange.

So, I talked with R, told her to tell her hubby (also known as my college friend M... and again... college friend M is my boyfriend's brother... *weirdness*) to pound some sense into my boyfriend's prideful, stubborn, and *male* brain.

I'd attempt to pound that same sense into his head, but the last thing I want is for the boyfriend to feel like I'm pushing him to leave his very, very close network of friends and the place he's lived for the last 10 years. I don't want to even brush up the possibility of him eventually resenting me for that.
