Finally home!

rosebeeI've been disconnected from LJ & internet in general since Wednesday morning.
I was off Wed & Thursday taking the CPA exam. That is one BRUTAL test! Thursday night after the last exam was over (at 6pm) I drove to my parents house and spent the entire weekend recovering. Studying for that test for the last 2 months, normal work-stress, and normal life-stress, had me pretty much a zombie once I'd drained all my brain power to actually take the exam.
But, I'm happy to report that I've recovered to a near-fully functional state!
I still have to catch up with LJ, but I imagine it'll take me quite a while. I tried to skim through a bit while I was at my parent's house, but there's only so much patience I have for a dial-up connection (when I'm so used to my cable modem I've got here at home).
I did finally rent the DVD for Music of the Heart. I'm looking forward to watching it. And not just for the making of the music video w/NSYNC. I played the violin for 3 years in junior high, and I recently bought a violin off of ebay, and I've been playing a bit with it, trying to get myself to remember what I used to know.
Off to go finish unpacking my crap and see what falls out of the fridge for dinner.
