This Renee was in KIDS, Inc with Stacey Ferguson, aka Fergie who's now with the Black Eyed Peas. Renee & Stacey were also part of Wild Orchid, the group that JC did some producing & writing for.
I find this fascinating, personally.
ETA: Today's just full of new information. Evidently, JC was dating Stacey before he went out with Bobbie. (my thanks tojc_a_holic for this snippet of information). n/m. gotta love rumors!. Maybe it's not such a rumor after all. ghettogreta is just full of all kinds of information and was able to verify this rumor (or as much as anyone can who's not JC, Stacey, Renee, or Bobbie).
