Dec. 25th, 2003 08:05 amMy discovery from yesterday after spending some quality bonding time with my brother.
He's *very* much a punk-scene kid. He also has started to DJ some of the house parties his friends put on, and he says that's gotten him back into dance-type music more (as opposed to the punk-rock music he was pretty much exclusively into before he started this DJ'ing thing).
Due to JC's vocals on the latest Basement Jaxx album, my punk-scene brother knew not only who JC was, but knew his last name and did better at pronouncing it than most radio DJ's I've heard.
My punk brother also really likes Justin Timberlake's album. Says it reminds him of early 'Off The Wall' era Michael Jackson, and that it has some tracks that get people on the dance floor when he's doing a DJ gig.
My music world is colliding with my brother's music world.
::peeks down at the weather in hell::
::is confused::
I would've sworn it would've been frozen over before my music world came anywhere close to intermingling with my brother's.
