Some good (& reliable) news on JC's album

as posted by [livejournal.com profile] scot_ty (thanks!)

A response from Karen Chasez to questions about the delay of JC's album from here

You might have guessed I can't give you details. . . . However, I can say there was a plan in the early summer that included dates for releasing the first single and the album (JC mentioned them in some public appearances), but as issues arose the timeline could not be met. I think progress has been made on resolving the issues, and some exciting things will begin to happen over the next 45 days. JC has a lot of music recorded over the last year, so there is no delay due to lack of material!

From the mouth of the matriarch. She has answered questions there before, so I feel comfortable that this is the real thing. It's about time we got some good news.
This was posted in The Dax Files, a web site that was started by one of NSYNC's original keyboardists. Pretty legitimate. And Karen *just* replied so I'm hoping that her info is up to date, including whatever happened in NYC Thursday and Friday.

After some quick arithmetic, exactly 45 days from today is... wait for it... Tuesday, October 21st!!!

Scotty also helpfully pointed out that this timeline coincides nicely with the rumor that JC is to be the musical guest on SNL on Saturday Oct 18th!

I'm so damn excited, I can hardly stand it!!!

EEEEEEEEE!!

Now, the only question remains… what were/are the “issues”? I really wanna know!

I hope they're sticking with the Oct 21 release date. Thanks for the info. :)

If I had to guess, I'd say something was happening on Oct. 21st! Though, it could all be a fortuitous coincidence, but I'd like to believe Karen counted out the days and said "45 days" for a specific reason.
