About JC @ the Skillz Challenge

I don't know what happened to him. He was there about 30 minutes or so (not the five minutes some people are claiming). He was certainly there long enough for a couple of the contests. Around the time of the water balloon fight, his bodyguard came over and was talking to him. Then a little while later, he came out to talk to him again (like he was trying to get him to leave) and then he followed him down as JC was walking out. They met up at the end and left. His mom sat there awhile longer but his dad left soon.
I must say that he did seem to be walking gingerly as he was leaving but that could have been because he was wearing flip flops on sand.

I heard Jace got hammered last night and he has a WICKED sunburn (he showed it to me, his back is RED.) He couldn't play with the rest of the team. He was freaking wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt. It ain't exactly cold out either, know what I'm sayin'? I must say that the skills was so awesome this year. The sun was burning down all day until it started then cloud cover came over so no one died from friggin' heatstroke. Everyone seemed happy to be there and were having so much fun. Trevor is the mascot- he gets everybody silly. And Joe and Chris too. They keep it goin'.

Yes, Justin was there. And JC left with his parents. So either he was hurting REALLY bad or they had something important to do.

Skills was not bad at all. I had crappy seats, so I stood up. Then Justin's mom took my seat! She was sitting with her husband. Let me tell you, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Everytime there was music, she would bob her head back and forth the EXACT same way Justin does! It's sooo funny! JC didn't play at all . Chris was very funny, as well as Justin. He didn't seem sick to me. Overall, it was VERY fun and Justin was the only one to thank the fans for coming out. That made me feel a little better since they were only thanking the celebrities for participating and kissing the sponsors' asses.

I went today too! I enjoyed myself depsite JC's breif appearance. There was a lot of water being thrown around. Joey went nuts at the end and jumped in the pool along with some other guys and soaked me. Umm...the pool was so bootleg. The knights put a dent in it from trying to free shirts from a big block of ice (the games were...interesting). Some games lasted really long (like the freeing of 4 shirts from a big block of ice and some went by at a decent rate but the Daze kept hollerin' that the Knight were cheating (eventhough everyone knows the Daze cheated SEVERAL times. They had a tug o' war with old applesauce (Justin got the bodygaurds to help his team in the end and they one). Venus Williams was there also. I don't know if that was mentioned, and I was happy to see Joel along with Benji.
oh and Brianna is soooo cute!

re: Lance @ the Skillz Challenge: Yeah he was shirtless a lot. He has a tattoo of what looked like a bull head on the top of his back. He was looking pretty good and a lot more sober than the night before.

I pre-judged Justin's large angel tatto on his back, and after I got a good shot of it, it wasn't NEARLY as hideous as I first thought it was going to be.

That's interesting, that everyone in *NSYNC has a matching tattoo except JC... but the *NSYNC I know and love wouldn't let JC get away with this. Couldn't they just have gotten him plastered, waited until he passed out, then slipped the tattoo artist a little extra incentive to go ahead and ink him?
I guess not, if we're talking about true terror, though. What's got him so frightened of needles?

My understanding is that it is a true terrifying, bone-deep frightening type of thing with him. I guess it's just one of those phobia things you're either born with or develop at an early age.
