YAAAAY!!! FRIDAY!! :D
My teacher had a tummy bug, so my ASL class was canceled last night. This was actually a good thing, as I really needed & enjoyed the quiet night off. :)
I went skating Wednesday night, and it went well. I'm feeling more & more confident and prepared for the Derby tryouts tomorrow morning (OMG! Tomorrow? Already?!)
I *just* found out last weekend that every Friday after the Junior Derby Girls (ages 10-18) practice, there's an open skate! So since tryouts are tomorrow, I'm going to go to the open skate as I could really use the experience skating on that floor. It's the same place where the local Derby league holds all their practices, and it's where tryouts will be tomorrow.
My BIG!GIANT!Project at work was turned in yesterday. Due to bugs in a new software it wasn't quite all done when I turned it in, but the 'undone' things are correct and finished, just not appearing/reporting correctly. I'm just glad it's someone else's problem for a few weeks.
Tomorrow after Derby tryouts I'm getting together with some local Adam Lambert fans. It'll be fun to see them again & share stories - a couple of them made it down to LA for his final show(s) on his GlamNation Tour.
Then tomorrow night, MrB & I are going out for an early-Valentine's dinner (he has a midterm on the 15th, so we can't go out on the 14th).

I'm actually only a little nervous about tryouts, I have all the minimum skills they're looking for so I'll sail through right onto the training team "Bloomin Doom"!
