The cuffs are a little tight, and I'll probably move the buttons so they're not quite so snug. But overall, I'm really pleased with this. It's my first button-up shirt & first collar, so I'm rather proud of myself! :D

Thanks! When I stop and think about how far I've come, I impress me too! :)

If I look close (or not-so-close) there are things that I'd like to be better (wrinkly back, sleeves are too low as I can't lift my arms without my entire shirt coming up, and then getting stuck on my boobs requiring me to pull it down into place).

But even with the things I'm not crazy about, I still really like it!

Thanks! I started sewing about a year and a half ago when I realized I was 1) turning 30, 2) getting married (in same summer), and 3) could barely sew a button on.

I took a class at a local sewing machine dealer, realized the whole sewing thing wasn't nearly as hard as I thought... and just kept taking classes (more drop-in help kind of classes after the first couple).

I've totally and utterly surprised myself with how much I've taken to it & enjoyed it!

Thanks! I really like the color too - the light colors and pastels that are so popular right now just look awful on me, so it was fun to be able to pick out just the right fabric and make my own shirt! :D
