It did not end how I was expecting/dreading. I'm SOOO glad Snape turned out to really be a good guy deep-down.

And I would not have expected Narcissa to have lied for Harry like she did, but she did really love her son.

Too many people died, but that's what happens in a war.

I'm still trying to get my brain around the very complicated plan/plot that Dumbledore had split the knowledge of amongst so many different people. I think I'm going to have to re-read the book before I really get a good understanding of it.

And I wonder when exactly Umbridge purhcased the locket and started wearing it. If she was wearing it during Order of the Phoenix it certainly would explain a LOT about why she was such an evil bitch.


I'm sure I'll have more thoughts but I'm still trying to collect them.

I hated the guy, but when I read all those memories he had that he gave to harry when he died... omg! I felt really sorry that I'd ever doubted him... he was a much deeper more loving/caring person than I ever thought!

i read arguments that he was not really nice since he was lousy to harry, but even that makes sense -- if he was night the deatheaters would know and then voldemort would know. and he promised to work to keep harry safe, so that was more important than being his friend.

but i HATED him. and now i care about him so much and feel so sniffly for him. and made icons :)

I knew Snape wasn't evil! I mean, I still don't really like him that much, but I just knew he was trying to protect Harry all along.

Just yesterday we got the URL from the photographer so we can review the pics to choose the 100 for the album we got and the 4 we want him to put together in a collage.
