weekend's are just not long enough!
Went to a local plant sale with a friend Saturday morning, then went grocery shopping with HTB, then stayed around the house being lazy & doing laundry while he went on a bike ride to my folks house.
Then we went out to dinner at a favorite local mexican restaruant to celebrate his new job. I was brave and ordered a dish other then my absolute favorite that's been the only thing I've gotten there when ever we've been there (this was only the 3rd time we've been there). And of course I learned my lesson, that being brave and trying new things is not something I should do because the meal was bland and not good. :(
Then we went out to dessert with HTB's brother.
Sunday I slept in a little bit, and HTB slept in a lot. We eventually got up and out of the house and drove up to Salem. We went to go see what should've been a beautiful garden attraction of some gorgeous show gardens but they haven't been keeping up with maintenance and it looked really run down. So we didn't even bother seeing the whole thing and went to go find a new trail to a waterfall that was written up in the paper this past week. We found the trail and the small 3-car parking area had at least half a dozen cars on the side of the road. I guess we weren't the only ones who read the paper this week!
The hike was short, but fun.
And now it's the work week again.
The weekend was absolutely gorgeous!! Sunny and it got up to 70 yesterday!
An absolutely beautiful spring day and I want 3 more of them. With no job to get in the way either. :)
