It feels like I've been doing nothing but working 45+ hour weeks since June. I want need a vacation (or even a little break) so badly I can hardly see straight. And there's no hope in sight of a vacation of any sort until the first week of November. And even then I'm only escaping the madhouse because I have to travel out of state to attend a wedding for one of my boyfriend's friends. I'm really looking forward to that opportunity to get away. I just wish I could make it a longer vacation. I also wish that when I arrive back that there won't be a giant pile of work waiting for me, but I know that's a hopeless wish.

I managed to talk with my supervisor and she was very nice and commisserated with me, and explained some of the things that were causing me massive frustration and stress the last few days, so that was a good thing.

I also stopped by the bakery at the grocery store across the street on my lunch break. I got a very large, yummy brownie that has an even yummier peanut butter frosting on it. :)

Can I have a nervous breakdown yet? Please??

Though, as a warning, in case you didn't read through my bio info, my journal is occasionally about my work life, occasionally about my personal life (which is usually filtered in some sort), and very frequently (though not so much recently) about my unholy love of sparkly boyband pop music. ;)

Thanks, they will, it's just a matter of time. Things should start to slow down in 2 or 3 more weeks.

It's just a matter of getting to that point in one piece. So far, so good, though! :)
