(no subject)

I've been drooling over stories, reviews, screenshots, and even discussion in various forums.

I. want. sims. 2. very. very. much.

Want it now!! ::stomps feet & has a tantrum::

I also want a brand new bike, and a new computer that'll run the sims without fainting. My current computer falls over dead at the mere *thought* of attempting to install and play sims 2.

I know! I'll quit my job, win the lottery, buy all of those things, and play sims2 all day (at least until I got bored, at which point I'd probably go back to work).

I'm not feeling well. Evidently there's a little cold bug going around the office. And of *course* I have to go travel out of town next week for an audit.
I am less than amused by this.
I woke up with an upset tummy this morning. That, too, was less than amusing.

Thanks, I hope so too! I'm drinking lots of water and taking zinc, so I think it'll go away soon.

*healing vibes*

I'm actually disappointed in Sims 2. A lot of stuff I love in the old Sims is missing (like all the custom content and all the fun stuff from the expansion packs) and instead there are just new graphics and growing up/growing older sims who can't do as many things -- and you have to watch over them a lot more, I loved setting things up and just watching them, and now it seems like you have to babysit them or things go to pot fast.

I've read about a cheat where you can turn aging off! :)

Maybe by the time I get around to purchasing a computer that's fast enough to run Sims2 they'll have expansion packs and bunches of custom content and stuff!

Awww, feel better soon.

As for the Sims 2, I like it. For most items, they have different colors and variations of it, so you don't have to download those now. I plan to turn off the aging as soon as the baby in my one family grows a bit. There's more in-game custom content that you can buy if your "aspiration meter" is high enough.

Oooohhh, I like different colors/variations! :)

I'm hoping that I'll be able to save up enough money that I can convince various family members and etc to help me buy new computer components for Christmas. Or a new bike. I really haven't decided yet.

Man... I want to win the lottery. That sounds great!

Doesn't it though?

It'd take a miracle, since I never even really *play* the lottery, but it's a nice thought.

It came out... a week ago or so. I'd be playing it now, but my poor computer can't run it.
