SQUEEEEEE!!

You know those tankini swimsuits? With the tank top for the upper part & the bikini for the lower? I've always wanted one. But, I could never find one in my size.

Land's End has them for D-cups!!! So I ordered one!

EEEP! I get to wear a tankini!

I bought two in the recent seasons, with floating underwires! They are fantastic! (and I am bigger than a D). Got them at Lord and Taylor i do believe on clearance!

OOOOH! I bet you probably paid less than I did.

I'll have to remember to look there sometime. The one I got was spendy, and had a softcup, not underwires. We'll see how I like it. I can always return it if I need to - that's the beauty of Land's End.

Darn! They don't have Lord & Taylor stores west of Colorado, and they don't sell online, either.

Looks like I'm gonna be sticking with Land's End.

Thanks though!

hrm, i guess you just take things for granted that things are all over the place. Maybe try Macys? I will try and remember to look up the brands and you might be able to find them in some retail stores!

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure we don't have Macys, either. Wait a minute! They just changed the name of The Bon Marche (a regional department store chain) to The Bon-Macy's (I'd heard they were both owned by the same company, so maybe they decided to change the name out here to reflect that).

I'll have to try looking there sometime. Though their selection of swimsuits is never that good. And I've yet to see a tankini in retail stores that specifically says it's made to fit sizes D and above.
