A sparkly post? Not a RL post that's doing nothing but gushing sappily over the new boyfriend?
::gasp::
Yeah. So, I've been a little um, distracted lately.
I ordered things from amazon.com. They arrived yesterday. Both of the items I ordered have already brought much joy & happiness.
Item #1 = The new Hanson album, "Underneath". This is *very* good. I really, really like this album. I was a bit afraid it'd have too much of a rock edge to it, but that was an unfounded fear. Their beautiful and distinctive harmonies, the kind that are made when only 3 brothers sing together, are very much alive & well. The album seems to vary greatly in volume levels from song to song, so I'm having trouble keeping it at a volume low enough so I don't inadvertently blast out the eardrums of my coworkers, but high enough that I can easily make out the lyrics. (I suppose I could also look through the cd booklet to see if there are any lyrics in there, but that'd be too easy).
Item #2 = New Kids On The Block "Greatest Hits: The Videos". 'k, people. I knew that there was a greatest hits cd out a couple of years ago. I bought it, because I'm a hopelessly addicted nkotb fan that will buy almost anything they try and sell me. Why did you people not tell me that there was also a DVD that has all the music videos and some live performances of the songs on the "Greatest Hits" cd? You're slacking people! It's a good thing I'm in such a giddy nostalgic childhood retrospective mood that you're not all collectively fired. Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've seen the video of my little (and I *do* mean little) Joey McIntyre singing "Please Don't Go Girl"? I could've been seeing this many, many months ago? ::glares::
And while I'm on a sparkly roll... Less than a week until Joey's new album comes out!
::bounces::
:)
And now for some RL stuff. Any and all comments, hints, and advice are very much welcome.

And since I'm writing down here anyway -- call and follow up at places you sent your resume to, as well as sending it out to more companies.

He was whining to be about the lack of responses he's gotten. I'll have to remind him to make some follow-up phone calls!

It's an AWESOME dvd! You'll love it. I got mine for my birfday last year!

YAY!! I can hardly wait to watch it! I think I'll fire it up and watch it while I exercise tonight!

Pshaw! Of course!! It was cute. I had to wince a couple of times at the way some of the songs got remixed, or the way Jordan would try and reach for a note that was originally sung by a prepubescent Joey McIntyre. ;) Ooooohhhh! Where's Joey Mac performing in May? Does he have a tour going? Maybe I'll be able to go see him, too! ::daydreams about the idea::
