Awesome weekend was had!
Saturday got to the local Saturday Market (a Farmer's/Artisan's market), which was lots of fun. I bought pretty pair of peacock/ostrich feather earrings (LOVE the colors & they'll be *perfect* to wear to an Adam Lambert concert this summer), and I bought a nice swirly silver ring.
Then it was off to the shoe store for new sneakers.
I ended up buying a pair of Brooks Glycerin 8 shoes. They're VERY comfortable, and fit well. I have trouble getting shoes to fit because of my orthotics - even the ones where the insole comes out, the heel area sometimes isn't deep enough... or the heel's not narrow enough and lets my heel slip that way.
LOTS and LOTS of fun was had this weekend watching the YouTube videos from Adam's shows in Vancouver on Friday & Saturday nights. I wish I could've gone up there to see him, but I couldn't afford the cost, not to mention the time off work. This summer though I *WILL* go see him on tour, even if I have to drive 7 hours up to Seattle to see him there.
Back to my Monday. I've had worse Mondays, so life's not too bad. Though it'd be better if I had gone to bed earlier & not woken up an hour before I wanted to.
