Hello. My name is Rosebee, and I'm a QAF addict.
Last night, after work, I went to the video store to rent the first couple dvds of Queer As Folk Season 3. The video store was out. So I went to a department store and spent $80 I shouldn't have and purchased the entire QAF Season 3 dvd set.
If I had gotten off work say, around lunch time, this wouldn't have been a problem. Since I didn't get off work and home from the store until 6:30pm, this turned out to be a problem. A big problem.
Silly ol' me, I guess I just don't quite know the meaning of the word patience, or the phrase wait until tomorrow. I popped in the first volume of the season, and figured I'd watch part of it and then go to bed. Before I knew it, I'd finished the entire first 4 episodes, it was 10ish and I was putting in volume 2. Then Justin was starting to buy a clue or two and Brian was so pathetically in love & heartbroken and wouldn't admit it for a second, and then I blinked a couple times and it was past midnight and I was starting up volume 3.
You might be noticing a pattern here. I watched the entire damn season. In one fucking night. I stayed up all night... until 6 in the freakin' morning. I got a whopping 4 & a half hours of sleep.
::groans::
I am so tired...
I can't believe I stayed up all damn night. The last time I remember doing that was when I was in college, and a group of us had to stay up to finish a paper.
I wonder if the QAF people know how powerful of an addiction they're creating.
I'm now seriously considering signing up for Digital Cable & subscribing to Showtime, just so I don't have to wait any longer than I absolutely have to in order to see Season 4.
I think need help.
